ASCIIART.PRO is designed to minimize the information it receives. The current text and image converters run in your browser.
Files and generated work
Images selected in the current converters, including the Fastfetch image input, are processed locally in your browser. Fastfetch project names, pasted ASCII art, width checks and downloadable packages are also processed in your browser. We do not upload or store these inputs or generated outputs.
Anonymous product events
We record limited product events such as page visits, successful uploads, copies, exports and pricing interactions. These events include the page path, a coarse traffic category such as search or referral, known search-engine labels and sanitized campaign labels needed to improve the product. We do not store the full referring URL, search query, uploaded image, generated output, filename, email address or advertising identifiers in these events.
On-device favorites
If you save gallery favorites, their page identifiers are stored in your browser using local storage. This list stays on your device, can be removed by clearing site data and does not contain the artwork you upload or generate.
On-device studio presets
If you choose Save Preset, conversion settings such as density, colors and glyph choices are stored in your browser. Shared preset links include settings and short typed banner text, but never include an uploaded image or generated image data.
Waitlist information
If you join a product waitlist, we store your normalized email address, the plan you selected, the page where you joined, your consent status and timestamps. We use this information only for requested launch updates and product access. You may ask us to remove it by emailing hello@asciiart.pro.
Checkout and payment events
Current custom-service purchases, earlier paid offers and active legacy subscriptions use Waffo Pancake in live mode. Waffo.com Limited processes checkout and payment information as merchant of record under its own buyer terms and privacy policy. ASCIIART.PRO does not receive full payment-card details.
ASCIIART.PRO receives signed order, subscription and refund events containing the buyer email, order reference, product, amount, currency and status. We use this information to confirm payment, fulfill purchases, provide support, prevent duplicate processing and keep required business records.
Briefs, references and support
If you submit the custom-service form, we store the request reference, email address, selected plan, project name, intended use, requested date and the brief text you enter. We use it to assess the request, contact you about scope and timing, and fulfill accepted work. The form does not subscribe you to marketing or start a payment.
If you contact hello@asciiart.pro, we receive the information included in your message. Briefs, lawful reference material and custom deliverables are processed only as reasonably necessary to evaluate or fulfill the request, provide support, resolve disputes and maintain required transaction records. You may request deletion where applicable.
Infrastructure
The site is delivered through hosting and security providers that may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type and timestamps for security, reliability and abuse prevention.
